The Alto is a great stand alone insulated jacket or works as a warmth layer under the Summit. Primaloft fill adds warmth without bulk. Ergonomic shaping of the sleeve makes for a more sophisticated silhouette and added ease of movement. Interior zippered pocket has an exit valve for earphone cords. The zipper garage at the top collar protects the wearer from a cold zipper against their neck.
